Fire damages RV near Ephrata

EPHRATA — A recreational vehicle behind a residence suffered damage but was not destroyed in a Monday evening fire on Dodson Road near Ephrata.

Grant County Fire District 13 chief JIm Stucky said the fire was reported about 6:50 p.m.in the 10000 block of Dodson Road. The RV was parked behind a residence, Stucky said.

"It was a fire in a corner where (the RV) was plugged in," he said. "(The fire) did significant electrical damage inside."

Crews from the Ephrata Fire Department also responded, Stucky said. Firefighters were on the scene for about two hours.
